Job Duties:
This position functions in a craft worker capacity responsible for the operation and maintenance the campus computerized Energy Management System - Metasys. Under general supervision monitor, modify, program, adjust, install and troubleshoot HVAC control systems. Monitor the operation of the HVAC systems and assist in the training of others in the operation and maintenance of the HVAC systems.
Must have successfully completed an approved apprenticeship in the Steamfitter crafts; or, must be recognized by an appropriate authority (e.g., labor union, trade organization, etc.); or, have performed at least 8,000 hours in the work processes and can provide verification if required to do so.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Certified in handling refrigerant.
Utilization of State safety programs, Lock Out/Tag Out, Hazardous Communication, Confined Space Entry, Ladder Safety, PPE, Respiratory Protection
Utilization of CMMS-Computerized Maintenance Management System-TMA.
Ability to stoop, crawl, kneel, work aloft.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
