Job Description:
Mecum Auctions seeks a proficient and dynamic Social Media Manager to spearhead and execute comprehensive social media strategies and campaigns.
The incumbent will drive channel growth, generate and monitor content creation, own and execute the social media marketing schedule and conduct data-driven analysis while ensuring alignment with overarching marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
Channel Management and Strategy Post engaging content daily across all Mecum social channels.
Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and replies across various social media platforms.
Manage and respond to messages received through social media, directing inquiries to the appropriate contact within the company as needed.
Contribute to and maintain Mecum's social content calendar to ensure consistent and timely postings.
Collaborate with the Manager, Social Media & Content to conceive and implement campaigns supporting bidder registration, consignments, and diverse marketing initiatives.
Close collaboration with the Manager, Social Media & Content and Digital Marketing Manager to execute campaigns and initiatives effectively.
Measure, analyze, and give the Digital Marketing Manager campaign performance reports.
Content Creation and Distribution Generate compelling content, including videos, stories, blog posts, and monthly magazine content for social media and other marketing channels.
Collaborate with the Director of Sponsorship & Marketing Partnerships to produce sponsor-related content that aligns with Mecum's social voice.
Coordinate with the Art Director for all social graphics requests and manage the packaging and distribution of social content to auction venue marketing staff.
Channel Growth and Engagement Stay abreast of evolving social media technologies, trends, and design tools.
Research and explore social influencer partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
Aid the paid search and paid social initiatives in executing brand awareness campaigns on social media.
Identify and implement innovative content strategies such as promos, contests, and giveaways to boost engagement.
Monitor and report on social platform growth, utilizing data to refine strategies, establish KPIs, and identify areas for enhancement.
Requirements:
Preferably possess marketing copywriting experience.
Proficient in video creation.
2-4 years of digital marketing experience.
Preferred knowledge in Hubspot, Salesforce CRM, and Creator Studio.
Basic HTML skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and, ideally, Adobe Suite.
Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
